Full body photo of one of my more recent Wyrms, a Water Elemental Great Wyrm. This is one of a series of fur, with, of course, the four Elements each being represented. Next will be either Air or Earth...I'm saving my favorite, Fire, for last! ;D

While not breedable with the rest of the Wyrms in my adoptable/breedable game, Greater Elementals DO have the ability to "spawn" 4 times, producing a Standard sized Wyrm of their Element. These spawnings will require no breeding, simply the permission of the Elemental's Handler.

Wyrm doll is approx 5 feet long, including tail feathers, and is made entirely by hand. Face is sculpted without the use of molds in polymer clay, horns are made out of epoxy and set into the skull, glass taxidermy blanks are painted for the eyes, and the whole body is dyed and sewn. Inside of the body is a durable, industrial strength acrylic armature that allows the Wyrm to be posed.

While this particular Wyrm is SOLD, I believe his handler is taking requests for spawnings. ([link] ) Though be warned, like most Elemental Handlers, she is liable to be choosy! ;3

Are those facial tendrils perchance felted? He's absolutely gorgeous!
They are! Suuuuch a pain in the bu,, but nothing else had the weight and floppy-ness I wanted for them, so, felting it was.

Happy with the result. It might have been a PitA, but the dye took nicely and they are wicked cute.

I'm a needle-felter myself so it's super neat to see felt incorporated into these guys which I already adore!
I kind of want to do a WoW Mana Wyrm, just for fun/for myself. I love their design, and those tendrils would be adorable! ^u^

My hats off to you, felting is sooo time consuming, but looks so neat when done properly! You must have incredible patience, those wee bitty needles take foreeeeeever to work with.

Oooh, a mana wyrm would be gorgeous!

It's not so bad once you get in the speed of it, I find; a 4" or so horsie takes me maybe 4 hours if I get into the zone.
